It started as a joke

Every Sunday, the same group met at the courts. Someone joked they needed a team uniform. Jess took it seriously.

“I just wanted crewnecks for our pickleball group. Now strangers stop me at the beach asking where to buy one.”

Jess Moreno, founder of Sunday Social

One sitting, no boxes

Jess described the look she wanted, picked a crewneck, and had a design and a logo the same night. She never bought a box of inventory. Each crewneck is made when someone orders it.

From friends to customers

The group wore them every week. Then friends of friends asked. Jess published the crewneck to her shop and shared the link.

Now Sunday Social has a small collection, and every order is made and shipped for her.

Her advice

  • Start with what your people already want.
  • Wear it yourself. It's the best ad you have.
  • Keep the first collection small.
