Creating discount codes for your shop

Make a percent-off or dollar-off code for your shop’s items. The discount comes out of your earnings.

Give buyers a code for your shop’s items. You’ll find Discount codes in your dashboard settings. You need a shop first.

Setting up a code

  • Code: 3 to 24 letters, numbers, dashes or underscores.
  • Percent off (1% to 90%) or amount off ($0.50 to $1,000).
  • Optional: a minimum spend, a limit on uses, and an end date.
  • Turn a code on or off anytime.

How it works for buyers

  • It only takes money off your items, not other shops’ items in the same cart.
  • Uses are only counted from paid orders, so abandoned checkouts don’t use it up.
  • You can’t use your own code.

Who pays for the discount

The discount comes out of your earnings. Soshi’s fee is figured on the discounted price. No item can be discounted below its making cost plus Soshi’s fee; the discount stops there and the buyer is told.
