Shopify orders and tracking

When a Shopify order has Soshi products, we email you to pay for production. Once it ships, tracking syncs back to Shopify.

When an order comes in

  1. A customer buys a Soshi product in your Shopify store.
  2. We email you: “New Shopify order — pay $X to start production.” It breaks down the items and shipping, plus tax if any.
  3. Pay from the link in the email, or from Orders waiting for you to pay in your dashboard’s Shopify panel. Payment is through Stripe.
  4. Soshi makes it and ships it to your customer’s address from the Shopify order.

Nothing is made until you pay. Items in the same Shopify order that aren’t Soshi products aren’t touched.

How tracking syncs

When the order ships, Soshi adds the tracking to the order in Shopify and marks it fulfilled. Shopify then sends its usual shipping email to your customer.

If something goes wrong

If we can’t set up an order, we email you that it “needs a look”. Nothing is made or charged. Reply to that email and we’ll sort it out.
